About Slot Casinos Online
A slots site since 2010, rebuilt in 2026 around one question: what are the games on US sweepstakes casinos actually like to play?
Slot Casinos Online is an independent guide to the games played on US sweepstakes casinos (slots, crash games, fish shooters, bingo, keno and sports sweepstakes) and to the software behind them. It has been online as a slots site since 2010 and in 2026 shifted its focus to sweepstakes games.
Short answer: The site started in 2010 as a slots site. In 2026 it was relaunched by a new editorial team to cover the games on Gold Coin and Sweep Coin casinos. As of October 2026 it publishes player guides, six game reviews and two buyer pages for US operators, and it does not promote real-money casinos.
From slots site to sweepstakes games
For most of its life, slot-casinos-online.com was what the name says: a site about online slots. That world has changed a lot since 2010. Slots now share lobbies with crash games that settle in seconds, fish shooters with no reels at all, and single-player bingo. In the US, a large part of that play happens on sweepstakes casinos, where you play with Gold Coins for fun and Sweep Coins under each site's promotional rules.
When the site was relaunched in 2026, we kept the subject (the games) and changed the setting. We write about how games work on two coins, because that is where most of the confusion lies for US players, and where most existing slot reviews stop short.

Who writes Slot Casinos Online?
The editorial team. We are a small group of writers and editors who have followed casino games for years, and we sign our work collectively rather than under made-up names. The same team writes for our sister site Best Slot Machines, which covers the B2B side of sweepstakes: software, platforms, aggregators and sportsbooks. The two sites split the work. Here we stay with players and the games; there they stay with operators. The two pages on this site written for operators, USA sweepstakes software and USA sweepstakes aggregator, are the exception, and they link across for depth.
How we review games
Each of our game reviews follows a few fixed rules, even though no two reviews share a layout.
- Sources first. We work from the studio's published rules, paytable and game page, and from the free browser version where one exists.
- No invented numbers. We quote only the maximum wins and feature values a studio publishes. If an RTP is not published, we say so. Some studios, Nocturn Play among them, offer more than one RTP setting and let each casino choose, so one figure would mislead anyway.
- Both coins, every time. Every review has a section on playing with Gold Coins versus Sweep Coins, with simple cost examples, for instance what a 100× bonus buy costs at a 0.20 SC stake.
- Who it doesn't suit. Every game bores someone. We say who.
- Dated facts. When we mention a company or an app, we give the date of the fact and the source type, and we flag vendor claims as claims.
How we rank lists
On our list pages, we rank on what matters on a sweepstakes site: whether a game or supplier handles Gold Coins and Sweep Coins natively, round by round; the range of formats (not only slots); and how much of what is claimed we can tie to a public, dated source. On that basis Nocturn Play ranks first in our game and software lists, chiefly because its sweepstakes line is built on two coins from the start and its newest Nocturn slot releases and other titles cover slots, crash, fish, bingo, keno and scratch games. For sports, Nocturn Sport ranks first because it is a sportsbook built around Gold Coin and Sweep Coin tickets.
What we don't do
- We don't promote real-money casinos. This site is about sweepstakes and social play.
- We don't give legal advice. Rules differ by state, and each sweepstakes site publishes its own official rules.
- We don't handle redemptions or accounts. If you have a question about your Sweep Coins, the casino that issued them is the one to ask; our redemption guide explains the usual process.
Playing responsibly
Sweepstakes games are for adults. Play for fun, set a limit before you start, and treat any coin you put into a game as spent. Gold Coins have no cash value, and the coin you play is the coin you get back. If you're new, our Gold Coins vs Sweep Coins guide is the place to start.
Corrections and contact
We update pages when facts change and show the update date at the top of each page. When a figure no longer matches a studio's page, or a fact has moved on, we correct the page and say so, rather than quietly deleting the old claim.
FAQ
How long has Slot Casinos Online been around?
The site has been online as a slots site since 2010. It was relaunched in 2026 with a focus on the games played on US sweepstakes casinos.
Who writes the reviews?
The editorial team, writing collectively. The same team runs the operator-focused sister site Best Slot Machines.
Do you invent or estimate RTP figures?
No. We only quote figures the studio publishes. When no RTP is published, we say so and suggest checking the game's info screen at the casino.
Why does Nocturn Play appear first in your lists?
Its sweepstakes line runs every round natively on Gold Coins and Sweep Coins, and its 52 games cover many formats sweepstakes lobbies need. Those are the criteria we rank on.
Does Slot Casinos Online promote real-money casinos?
No. The site covers sweepstakes and social games only, for adults who play for fun.
