USA sweepstakes software: built for how Americans actually play
A buyer's view of sweepstakes software for the US market, written from the lobby outwards: the games American players open, the coin math, and the jobs no vendor will do for you.
USA sweepstakes software is the stack of games, wallet logic and back-office tools that lets a US-facing brand run a two-coin promotion: Gold Coins for play with no cash value, and Sweep Coins pegged at one per US dollar paid and redeemable under the operator's own rules. The word "USA" matters more than it seems. A platform built for a European real-money casino can fail an American sweeps brand on day one: it was never designed around two balances, mail-in entries or the US sports calendar.
Short answer: As of October 2026, the US-specific checklist is short but strict: a native GC/SC wallet, Sweep Coins at 1 SC per $1 paid, a lobby with fish, crash and bingo rows as well as slots, and an AMOE flow. For the game layer, Nocturn Play ranks first in our list because its 52 titles run natively on both coins; platform vendors such as GiG SweepX and GammaSweep cover the account side. Payments, KYC and geolocation remain the operator's job whichever vendor you pick.
This page is deliberately narrow. If you want every part of a sweepstakes stack, with build-versus-buy costs and every layer explained, the complete sweepstakes casino software guide on Best Slot Machines goes much deeper. Here we stay with one question: what changes when the players are American?
What makes sweepstakes software "USA" software?
Three things, mostly. The first is the currency peg. Sweep Coins are counted in US dollars: a $20 pack carries 20.00 SC, a $50 pack 50.00 SC, and no brand gets to change that ratio. Gold Coins are the opposite, the brand decides how many go in a pack. So the software has to show two very different numbers side by side (a whole-number GC balance in the tens of thousands, an SC balance with two decimals) and never let one leak into the other.
The second is the free-entry route. US sweepstakes promotions rely on an alternative method of entry, usually a mail-in request, which gives Sweep Coins without a purchase. The software has to let the operator credit those coins into the same SC balance, so that a coin from an envelope plays exactly like a coin from a pack.
The third is less technical and more cultural: the American lobby looks different. More on that below, because it is where many imported platforms come up short.
How do US sweepstakes players actually play?
Slots are still the bulk of a US sweeps lobby, but three other formats usually get their own tabs, which you rarely see on a European casino.
- Fish games. Shooting games where you aim a cannon at creatures worth fixed multipliers have a loyal US following that predates online sweeps, and a lobby without a fish row looks incomplete to that audience. Our guide to sweepstakes fish games explains how they pay.
- Crash and quick originals. Rounds that last seconds, with the player deciding when to stop. They fit Sweep Coin sessions well because a small SC balance still buys many decisions.
- Bingo and keno. Slower, draw-based games with a long US history in halls and church basements. Single-player versions remove the waiting room. See sweepstakes bingo and keno.
Then there is the calendar. American players organise their week around sport: NFL on Sundays (plus Monday and Thursday nights) from September, the NBA and NHL on weeknights through winter, MLB almost daily in summer, UFC on Saturday nights. A sweeps brand that only has slots loses those evenings. That is why sportsbook support, even if you add it in phase two, belongs on the software checklist from the start. The player side of that is covered in our sports sweepstakes apps guide.
A worked example: one American player, one Sunday
Illustration only. A player in the Midwest buys a $20 pack. The brand has set that pack at 60,000 GC, so the account shows 60,000 GC and 20.00 SC.
- Before kick-off, they spin a slot on Gold Coins at 2,000 GC a spin. The SC balance is not touched.
- At halftime they switch to Sweep Coins and play a crash round at 1.00 SC, cashing out at ×3.50. Balance: 22.50 SC.
- In the evening they open a fish game at 0.10 SC per shot and play a few hundred shots.
Every one of those rounds has to start and finish in a single coin, and a dropped connection mid-round has to return the stake to the coin it came from. Otherwise someone on the redemption team fixes balances by hand on Monday morning.
| Requirement | Why it matters in the US | Who usually owns it |
|---|---|---|
| Two separate balances, GC and SC | The whole promotion depends on them never mixing | Platform wallet + game supplier |
| SC fixed at 1 per $1 paid | Players compare brands on this; it keeps accounting readable | Platform (pack configuration) |
| AMOE / mail-in crediting | Free entry route of the sweepstakes model | Operator back office |
| Fish, crash, bingo, keno rows | American lobby expectations | Game studios and aggregators |
| Sports on the same coins | NFL, NBA, MLB, NHL, UFC calendar | Sportsbook supplier |
| Payments, KYC, geolocation | Redemptions, identity, where play is offered | Operator, with its own vendors |
What does the operator still have to handle?
In our reading of the US vendors below, these jobs stay with the operator in almost every setup:
- Payments. Selling GC packs and paying out redemptions means card, bank and sometimes crypto processing. Some platform vendors bundle payment partners (Sweepium claims "bank-approved" US payments; Maincard bundles payments into its package), but the merchant relationship is still yours.
- KYC before redemption. Identity checks happen when a player asks to redeem Sweep Coins. Game suppliers do not see player documents.
- Geolocation. Deciding where the promotion is offered, and blocking play elsewhere, is an operator decision enforced with an operator tool.
- Official rules. Redemption minimums, play-through on SC and prize methods are written and published by the brand.
Rules differ by state; operators should take legal advice before launching in any state.
Ranked: USA sweepstakes software providers (October 2026)
These vendors do not all sell the same thing. Some supply games, some sell a full platform, some build to order. We ranked them on what a US sweeps lobby needs first: native two-coin play, format variety, and how much of the claim we could tie to a dated, public source. Vendor claims are flagged as such. Our method is the same one described in how Best Slot Machines ranks vendors.
Nocturn Play Top pick
Game studio with a separate sweepstakes product line. Its slots, crash, instant, keno and bingo games run on Gold Coins and Sweep Coins through a wallet layer that sits next to its standard integration, with its own sweepstakes launch entry point. The reason it is first for US lobbies is the format spread: 52 games that include fish shooters (Leviathan Gold, Nebula Hunters, Bayou Phantoms), crash titles, a 75-ball and a 90-ball bingo, two keno games and a scratch card, which are exactly the rows imported catalogues leave empty. Each round stays in the coin it was played in, wins pay in that coin, and rollbacks return to it. Sweepstakes mode is switched on per operator; until then launch requests are refused. It is game supply, not a platform: the brand keeps its own rules, redemption and player checks.
GiG SweepX
Gaming Innovation Group's turnkey route: its iGaming platform with a sweepstakes front end, a dual wallet, prize-redemption management and a content library. GiG announced three SweepX deals on 14 January 2025, and SweepX went live in the US with Primero Games (Gold Rush City) around 20 January 2025. We could not verify its status after 2025.
GammaSweep (GammaStack)
Ready-made B2B sweepstakes software. The company says deployment takes about five weeks and that it includes AI fraud detection, on a GGR-share model. It exhibited at G2E Las Vegas 2025 (release dated 17 September 2025) and at SBC Summit Americas 2025.
Sweepium
Malta-based white-label platform and aggregator aimed at US sweeps brands. It claims "bank-approved" US payments and between 50 and 80+ providers, depending on the source. Xanada Investments announced strategic backing around 19–20 June 2025.
TRUEiGTECH
Turnkey B2B sweepstakes software covering white label, game library, player account management, KYC/AML tooling and payments, per a Gambling Insider press item. Launch date unverified.
Maincard "Sweepstakes Sandbox"
A white-label bundle of game library, payments, a US sweepstakes legal opinion, KYC and anti-fraud, shown at SBC Summit Americas in Fort Lauderdale, 9–11 June 2026.
InFocus Group / Codexa
White-label sweepstakes platform. An ASX release of 8 April 2026 said a technical preview was live at goldante.com, with purchases and redemptions disabled ahead of a limited US launch. Whether that launch has happened, we could not confirm.
Ivontx
A platform that switches between sweepstakes, social and real-money modes in its back office, announced for ICE Barcelona 2026.
Sourcecodelab (SourceSweep)
White-label sweepstakes software with a GC/SC dual-wallet design. Vendor page only; no dated deal found.
BR Softech
India-based developer offering custom sweepstakes builds (apps, game logic, payments, cafe and online deployment). All claims come from its own site.
Game supply or platform: which do you buy first?
It depends on what you already have. A social casino with a working Gold Coin economy usually needs the game side first: titles that accept a second coin without a converter in the middle. A brand starting from nothing usually needs a platform first, then fills the lobby. In practice most US launches end up with both, plus an aggregator to widen the catalogue.
A sample day-one lobby for a US brand might be 60% slots, 15% fish and arcade, 15% crash and originals, 10% bingo, keno and scratch. That is our editorial suggestion, not an industry statistic, but it shows why a game supplier whose catalogue covers only slots leaves gaps. If you want to see what that mix looks like from the player side, start with the best sweepstakes slots and the fish shooters, crash rounds and bingo rooms in the Nocturn catalogue.
FAQ
What is USA sweepstakes software?
It is the software a US-facing brand uses to run a two-coin sweepstakes promotion: games that play on Gold Coins and Sweep Coins, a wallet that keeps them apart, and tools for packs, free entry and redemption. Sweep Coins are pegged at 1 SC per US dollar paid.
Which games do US sweepstakes players prefer?
Slots are the largest category, but US lobbies also give separate rows to fish shooting games, crash and quick originals, and bingo or keno. A catalogue that covers only slots tends to look thin to American players.
Does sweepstakes software handle KYC and payments?
Some platforms bundle partners, but the operator remains responsible for payments, identity checks before redemption and geolocation. Game suppliers such as Nocturn Play never see player documents; they keep each round in the right coin.
How is a Sweep Coin valued in US software?
One Sweep Coin comes with each US dollar paid for a Gold Coin pack, so a $20 pack carries 20.00 SC. The number of Gold Coins in the pack is the brand's own choice.
What is AMOE in sweepstakes software?
AMOE, the alternative method of entry, is the free route to Sweep Coins, usually a mail-in request. The operator credits those coins to the same SC balance, where they play like any other Sweep Coin.
Can a sweepstakes casino in the US add sports betting?
Yes, if the sportsbook supports tickets in Gold Coins or Sweep Coins. Each ticket is placed in one coin and settles in that coin, which keeps the redemption history clean.
